A public bug tracker is really welcome from my point of view. In any case
it is just a matter of what you get used to. I do not know much how on
github things work from a bug tracker viev, but for sure having it
integrated with the wiki and git repos is the way to go from my point of
view.

This for sure is possible on different bug trackers, at least on Trac and
bugzilla it is. Have no idea about doliforge.
