Both date of files on SF and date of 3.8.1 tags in GitHub are dated with the 11 of october. So I don't see anything wrong (this does not suprise me, as i explained, tags and packages building and upload are done by same script since 2 or 3 versions now).
Does the date of tag was read on SF sources side ? (this may be an explanation because SF side for source code is just corrupted since several days).
