If I change the IP addresses of my DNS servers in RWI's "Manage
Nameserver Hosts" section, will all domains at Tucows AND third-party
registrars automatically adopt the new name server IPs? What's the time
frame?
BACKGROUND: My company has migrated to a new IP address range.
Realizing that an immediate transition of nameservers would not be
possible, we've launched two brand new DNS servers. The old DNS servers
will remain online for a few weeks, if necessary. Now, I presume, we
need only swap the IPs on 'ns1.mydomain.com' and 'ns2.mydomain.com' to
point to the new DNS servers? Will this propogate to every domain that
points to 'ns1.mydomain.com' and 'ns2.mydomain.com?'
Any help is greatly appreciated.
