[domains-gen] DomainDirect

So I've been in the process of abandoning my reseller account for a while now, and have transferred all my domains to DD, because I've pretty much had few complaints with Tucows, etc. I recommended all my existing "customers" (read there, friends and family) switch their domains to DD as well, etc., etc.
The issue wasn't "the company" it was simply "I didn't feel like dealing with it any more". 


Except I am boggled by the fact that DD doesn't support .uk domains?  
Is there some logic to this that I'm missing? What should I be  
recommending to my customers (including myself) who have .uk domains?
