Your message header is a bit misleading, just to be clear dot EU
announced that they are starting to accept Registrar accreditation
application today, not actual registration requests...yet.
Tucows does plan on having these available to the channel for general
release, we will also explore the registries proposed sunrise period
and evaluate its feasibility to our channel. The registry will be
presenting more details to us regsitars next month at the Luxembourg
ICANN meeting. I plan on attending and getting lots more info direct
from the Registry. As it stands it looks like they are planing on a
Fall sunrise period which will last 4 months after which a general
release ~ Dec 05 or Jan 06.
We'll keep you all posted as news develops.
