He mentioned that he'd received a couple of "Domain Name Expiration Notice" by post for the domains registered with Primus from DROA (a couple of days later the renewal notices from Primus arrived). He very kindly sent them along to the Office for my reading, and I have to say it is fairly clear that DRoA is not the current registrar. We've had various domain renewal scams covered by local newspapers down here, but I figured you guys would like to know what is happening in the UK, and I suspect Primus will not be best pleased. My reading suggests that bulk snailmail of whois data isn't specifically excluded, so I can't say they are doing anything obviously unethical, although given DRoA's history I'm sure there is a catch somewhere.
