I am just going through the process of defining the roadmap for the future
releases of the ccs.

Some things that come to mind as strong candidates (in no particular order)
are:

- built in payment gateway support for standalone mode (without Platypus),
for 2-3 providers: Verisign, authorize.net?
- support of .uk, .us (.de, .cn?) top level domains
- email, emaildefence
- dns
- digital certificates

Please weight in - what would you like to see first? Feel free to contact me
off list as well.
-----------------------

My vote would be to extend CCS to cover more of the Tucows product line
before tackling additional payment gateways. Backoffice integration is
something that will need customizing for most everyone. The product line is
something that could benefit nearly everyone (although I don't know how many
resellers still focus exclusively on domains).

Even though we wouldn't use many of them, I would think that expanding to
cover the other TLDs would be a good first step. (If there are specific
TLDs that are problematic, then they could be an exception I suppose.)

In our case, I am not even bothering to download the code since it doesn't
support the email-related products. We don't sell a large volume of the
email products, but they are among the more time-consuming to manage. A
better interface for ordering domains isn't going to make enough of a
difference in our business, but an easier way of making email orders more
"self-service" for our customers would.

Even though we aren't rushing to implement CCS, we definitely appreciate the
effort. The PHP-based platform will be easier to integrate into our
existing systems. (The PHP5 requirement is a short-term issue for us since
we use other tools that are not yet PHP5 compatible. I suspect those
problems will be resolved fairly quickly though.)

Thanks!
