I received the below from [EMAIL PROTECTED] , evidently someone
filled out a form reporting a disconnected admin contact phone number for
one of our domains.
Foruntately the domain is owned by a friend of mine, so I just asked him if
he had changed his phone number. Of course, I already knew the answer to
that when he said "Hello" -- since I called him on that number.
Evidently [EMAIL PROTECTED] has emailed him twice in the past week
about buying the domain. My buddy gets so many requests to sell the domain
(why should be obvious if you read on) that he ignores them now. (It's his
domain, he's not selling, he likes it, don't even ask. :-)
I take it from this mail that this isn't an official "Invalid info, please
delete" request or anything. Aside from confirming I don't have to tell
Tucows it really, really, really is valid, I figured I would also warn the
other resellers this Yabo is out there.
Oh -- and domainbuyservice.com brings up a GoDaddy parked page. Real
big-time outfit.
