I have been complaining to Tucows about this for years. That is, ever since I started using an unmonitored email address for WHOIS. Tucows gives us lots of choice as to where they will send automated messages, renewal reminders, etc. But when it comes to them contacting us about new products or services, or when an end-user asks them "Who is my reseller?", or anything like that, they will use the WHOIS contact as set up in theRWI *and none other* AAAAARRGGGH!!! They have repeatedly told me that if I do not wish to receive anything at that address, that I need to change to WHOIS info on my account (incidentally, this address was one I did not have when I signed up as a Tucows reseller and it is listed in only one place). In reply, I have asked them repeatedly to give us a place where we can specify which address Tucows can / should use when contacting us since they do not use any of the ones that we have specified for that purpose, and they have told me that they do not wish to "confuse" things by having us specify another address.
