Also a couple of user interface niggles about this process.
1. The email sent to the registrant has the subject line "Transfer Away request has been received for the domain example.com". This requires ou to have a pretty wide setting for you subect line in your incoming email window. It would be very useful if it could be changed to "Transfer Away request for example.com domain name has been received" 2. If that email is not responded to, the transfer is allowed after the 5 day wait. If you want to fast-track the transfer on a number of domains, ther labour involved is quite high. Click the provided URL, cut and paste the domain name, cut and paste the key, call up the next web page, add the phone number, click the approve box. Most registrars these day offer two URLs in the auth email - an accept URL and a deny URL, and they give you a web page where you just click a button and the job is done. Could Tucows PRETTY PLEASE make this change to their interface? We have a bunch of other domains about to hit expiry due to Tucows mail and WHOIS problems and now have to manually fast track the transfers which will take a good hour of cutting and pasting, instead of a minute of clicking links and buttons. _______________________________________________ domains-gen mailing list [email protected] http://discuss.tucows.com/mailman/listinfo/domains-gen
