Hi,

We have a customer who we have provided "branded" nameservers to, the
customer has configured his IP's to respond as ns1.innerbox.net and
ns2.innerbox.net

The customer has updated his zone file so that these respond correctly.

I have added the nameservers via the "Register Name Server in all
Foreign Registries" option through the OpenSRS Control Panel (reseller
VALDI)

However, the customer has a client with a domain hosted with another
reseller who cannot change their authorative nameservers to
ns1.innerbox.net and ns2.innerbox.net

They receive an error "Unable to update nameservers: Nameserver
[ns1.innerbox.net] doesn't exist at the registry"

The only thing I can think is the customer has not built the nameservers
within their manage.opensrs.net login (his domain is with ANOTHER reseller)

Am I thinking along the correct lines?

Kind Regards,

Gavin
