Thanks Heather, I was already waiting for response from them.

I know TUCOWS has been working with Nominet on using their new real time 
interface, although I've lost track of the status of that.

Perhaps someone could drop a note saying what happens currently with UK 
domains, given the other comment.

I think if they don't work straight away they are dropping into "In Progress", 
but not being progressed as the default is "don't retry". We also don't get 
any email alerts when there is a problem registering a UK domain, which may 
well just be a setting.

So as far as our program knows it all worked except the domain is not 
registered. It'll try and renew it in 2 years ;)

Probably something very simple, but very opaque from this end.

  Simon, who finally fixed another bug (urm workaround of a TUCOWS bug) that 
meant we had a load of in progress orders that didn't need to be there for 
domains that were already registered to us (?!).
