We are working with our Website Builder Service vendor to resolve  
issues you have mentioned below.  Customers are seeing two types of  
issues:  slowness and timeout error messages.
So far, we have narrowed the cause down to a high load on these  
servers.  We hope to have this fixed as soon as possible.

A degraded system status email notification has also been posted.
