Good morning Bernd and fellow resellers, I will be contact the Tech support
team lead now. He has worked with domains for 8 years and will be able to
professionally assist in his knowledgeable response. I am sorry for yours and
your customer's experience.

I will contact you offlist. I will need the ticket numbers as well so that we
can fully investigate.

Thank you,
Heather

Subject: [domains-gen] .DE Domain renewal

In the past time I had some strange experiences. One .DE domain of one
of our customers could not be renewed due an "unknown reason" (This
was the result of the renewal process). We tried it sometimes, it did
not work. Not via the API and not via the RWI.

Because we were not able to renew the domain before expiry, the domain
was cancelled by tucows and it was given back to DENIC.

We asked the tucows support and the only answer was, that we have to
transfer the domain back.

We did so and now the transfer also failed due to an "unknown reason".
Tucows lost the domain name, and we as reseller have work to get this
domain name back in our account. Can I expect a little bit more
professional help on this case, than the typically first level support
answer "No Sir, we cannot do anything, the only way to get your domain
back is, to transfer the domain in your account". And if I get an
answer from another person, they tell me that I should contact the
reseller support.

I don't like to run in circles.

For this answer I don't need to contact the support, that is what we
know by ourselves.

Best regards

Bernd
