I don't necessarily see lack of conversation as a bad thing.  I think of
this list as somewhere to go when there's trouble.  The fact that it is
usually quiet is a good thing.  Personally, I don't need extra
conversation drummed up: that just takes extra cycles from my day.
Constant conversation is fine for a list that's intended to foster
community, but I didn't think that's what this one was for.

I'm not saying that opensrs community-building is a bad idea, just
that it's better to use a list/forum specifically for that, and
to try to minimize the converstation on the technical lists/forums.
