Hello everybody!!

You're 'scouser' friend here, once again. Firstly, congrats to all who have been fortunate enough to get the box set recently - us Brits have to wait until next monday for that privilege (so my local record store informs me). It sounds exciting. I take on board the comments re: Here To Love You, but as a person who has every album by the Doobs, but very little in the way of 45s (now there's an extinct term), I have always been curious about the single remixed versions and just how different they are (remember most weren't even released in the UK!), so all of 'em are interesting/worthwhile.
Speaking of curious singles, I finally get to the point of this e-mail (too much time on my hands you might say). I have a single dating from 1970 by Mike McDonald on RCA records called "God Knows" it is a demo and the B side contains a tune by a duo called Derek & Ray. It was produced by Rick Jerrard, the man responsible for all Mike's early stuff (as contained on his 1982 outtakes album 'That Was Then' - which incidentally doesn't contain this tune). I know you experts are knowledgable about all things Doobie, so I am asking if anyone out there as anymore info about this release?
Thanks to whoever thought up the idea of the fan-list, it is great to communicate with like minded and intelligent people. Like any widely distributed list, you will always get the odd crank, but thankfully they are almost non existent on our list.

If you've got this far? Cheers, hope to hear from you soon.
