Not only did I get the box set today, I also got to wear my Doobie Bros. Fan Club jacket in the chilly/foggy San Francisco morning air. What a great looking jacket! I'll be wearing it to the Springsteen concert I'm going to later this month. ;) Marti, Marla, you're like Angels from heaven! Thanks for all the hard work you put into getting these jackets together for us. The timing is perfect and I sure do appreciate it! The box set is very cool! Disc 4 got a workout first. It's so good to hear some early Doobie's music that I've never heard before! Daughters of the Sea is great and I like this version of Blue Jay even better than the one on "Introducing the Doobie Brothers". The booklet is really good, but I couldn't help noticing all the guessing on the dates. Just about every photo says "circa". I had to laugh when I saw on page 79 where the photo said "circa 1998". Wasn't that LAST YEAR? ;) Hmmm, the photo was taken SOMETIME last year, but no one knows when? Maybe this is a running joke I'm missing. I love the photos and seeing Joe's name in the credits is really cool. Joe, will you sign my booklet? :) I'm glad they went into great detail in the book rather than just adding a few notes to the pictures. It's great reading all about our favorite band. Nicely done! Rick circa 1999 ;) It's just like Christmas!!! :)
