I sent an email to Sylvia regarding the Happy99 virus. I thought I would
share the reply from her.

Thanks for the warning, but I already opened that darn thing, saw the
fireworks and thought nothing of it until I got a really nasty mail from
one of the Doobie fans telling me in no uncertain terms "shove the virus"
that I had sent, I had no idea what they were talking about! because this
virus attaches to out-going mail without you knowing! and I didn't even
know I had the virus in the first place.
The mail that it apparently came in with was from a friend I have known
for years, so obviously I didn't suspect anything.
If you know anyone on
the list personally, please assure them I didn't intentionally send that
virus!
Thanks so much for your concern, I really appreciate you not bitching me
out (like some people did) I really didn't know that I was sending out mail
with an attached virus, that's the last thing I would knowingly do to all my
Doobie friends, the mail about the Troop Adoption program was legit and
I do hope that darn virus didn't put people off of reading the mail!
