I only sent the original note on this a little over 24 hours ago, but here's
the early returns regarding Pat's hair:
Long 15
Short 2
Both 1
None 1 (meaning no hair)
I'm sure that there will be more votes to follow, but probably in the same
vane (or mane). Read on.
Before I get kicked out of my home I think I need to offer some
clarification. My wife, Stacy, never said that Pat didn't look great with
long hair. She likes the Brothers but she's not the "crazy go nuts" fan that
I am. When we saw the Band in Fort Wayne in the summer of '97 she simply
leaned over to me and said "that guy is really sexy". She was talking about
Pat, who's hair was close cropped then. Stacy never said that he didn't look
good with long hair, just thought he looked good when she saw him that night,
which happened to be with short hair.
It appears that I've managed to get myself in trouble for the same offense
twice now. First when I made the stupid statement to Pat, and now with this
posting. Oh well, guess that's just part of being a 42-year-old nervous high
school student.
