What do the Doobies and chili have in
common? How about the "Takin it to
the Streets" concert featuring the Doobies
and some local acts in Cincinnati on 10/28.
The concert is being sponsored by a local
restaurant as part of their 50th anniversary.
While the original info I got from the venue
and the Doobies was that this was a private
show, the concert is now being promoted
by Skyline Chili on several local radio
stations. However, you can't buy tickets.
You have to listen to the stations for
promo announcements and then go to
a certain one of the chili spaghetti restaurants
to pick up vouchers for the tickets. The good
part is the tickets are free!
Fortunately, I am not having to play this
listen and chase game as my wife and I
have tickets supplied by the venue thru
her connections at work.
Free tickets to see the Doobies again this
year. Ain't life grand? Hell I may even eat
some of that chili to celebrate!
