Gotta agree with you Jim. Since I've gotten the box set I find myself
replaying #'s 18 and 19 on disc 3 over and over (when that disc is in). It
doesn't matter what has occurred in my life that day, after I listen to
Rollin' On and Little Bitty Pretty One back to back to back to back. My feet
are tappin' and I'm smilin'.
Little Bitty will definitely pick up new listeners. I don't know that it's
the outstanding tune on the box set (too many good ones). But it sure is
hard to get out of your head after a listen.
Now I don't want to be accused of being a communist or anything, but I don't
find disc 4 to be the end all that a lot of others have professed it to be.
I find it to be very interesting, and a pleasure to get inside some of the
history of the band, but I don't just automatically grab for it when I sit
down. I would say that each disc has pretty much gotten equal play since I
bought the set. And it seems like each one gets played twice in a row before
it gets removed.
This is awesome.
Later.
