Hi guys,
I am fairly new to the list. I don't usually have time to contribute, though I do
enjoy reading the conversations. I have been a fan since The Captain and Me and live
just a few miles from the freeways on the cover. Anyway, so much for introductions.
My parents hated most of my music, including the Doobies, Beatles and most of all Led
Zeppelin. Their parents hated their music, most of all Sinatra. This, I am sure, is
the way it has always been and always will be. My daughter and son both love Ricky
Martin, Britney Speers and Backstreet Boys. I can listen to some of it, most I can do
without. But, what I like does not matter. What Pat likes is just that, what he likes,
not what he prefers. The test of quality is time. I hope that in 25 years my kids have
their version of the Doobies that they still listen to and support.
