I really don't post much anymore, but in light of the recent conversations I will. What makes the Doobie fan club is ONLY that we LOVE their music. Along with that is the memories of our lives shared with the Doobs music, songs that bring back younger days, hope for more of their music that we really love, and the prospect of the day when the Doobs finally do retire and we will no longer have their music to look forward to. Now, that will be a day the music died. Like so many, no, all of us here, we will be living in the past, just like we have said of our parents with Elvis, Jackie Wilson and other great company. The difference being all of my kids love the Doobies, they have transcended generations of my home from my 27 year old to my 15. The Doobies touch us all here, from their music which has changed from early to Michael, Skunk, John,  back to Tom, Pat always there, Mike, John, Keith, Chet, Tiran, Weeks, Skylark no matter, its the best music, PERIOD. I am nearing 50 but all of this family is waiting for the new album. It will be a reunion of us all when we crank it up for the first time. This is what this fan club is about, the music, memories, friendship, GETTING THE DOOBIES IN THE HALL OF FAME, caring, sharing, helping, being emotional, listening and respect for all. Diversity is needed, not detriments to the the Fan Club. I am not the judge, but the fan club will be. I too am proud to be among the growing list of the best music and fan club on the face of the earth.
Put in Vices, Stampede, Minute, Cycles and Brotherhood, and get with the program.
When the Doobies have retired for good what the crap are we going to do!
