Is there any end to this? I am 41 years old and the happiest days
of my entire life have been the last few days. Saratoga and a couple
of days later, Monroe Washington. One would think that I would be
all Doobied out, but actually it is quite the opposite. I suppose
if the guys had mondo egos and an attitude I would have had more than enough
of them by now. But nooooooooooo they have to be kind, fun
and appreciative of their fans not to mention completely down to earth.
They make me feel more like a friend than a fan, especially with Keith
pulling pranks on me like he does. Words cannot express the gratitude and
high opinion that I have for this band. Hardly the hotel trashing,
womanizing egomaniacs that normally possess the title of "Rock Star!"
These guys are gentlemen with hearts. Thank you
Doobs and Cris! I managed to coax everyone in my office
to attend the Monroe concert last night, in the pouring rain I might ad.
We now have our own fan club local! We were rocking so hard I really
thought the bleachers were going to break. I think that Albertson's
photo department hates me now because I call them about every 4 or 5 hours
to see if my pictures of Saratoga have been developed yet. Enough
of that. I think I am going to get a digital so I can do it myself
on the 'puter! I am a patient man until it comes to my Doobies pictures!
Thank you all for the friendship that you showed my brother (aka "Niles"pillow
boy) and I in Saratoga/Los Gatos. See ya next year. It is a
holiday for me now, just like Christmas. Take care and I will talk
to you all soon. Doobilly Yours, Glenn
