Someone was checking on a possible post show meet and greet at the Doobies
York, PA concert next week. Do we have any further word? Is it a go? I've
been an avid Doobie fan since 1973 but have never had the chance to actually
meet the guys. This would be much, MUCH bigger than me meeting Jay Leno and
being in the stage rushing crowd on the Tonight Show. I know, I'm bragging
now, but, hey, everyone on this list seems to already be frequent dinner
guests of the Doobies.

I'll second that. Same same here. Never met Jay on the Tonight Show though-
only somewhere out in the middle of the desert in Saudi Arabia, on the back
of a 5 ton truck.
Though I've seen the Doobies several times, it's been at least 5 years since
the last. First and Foremost- I've been a diehard Doobies fan for a LONG
TIME, but the message about the Doobies/Little Feat show got my attention. I
love me some Little Feat.
Seems that many have a certain other song or songs on the brain they'd like
to see the Doobs do. I imagine when I listen to the Feat's Texas Twister,
that the Brothers jam this one out REAL GOOD. I think this is one in Doobies
style, from the opening guitar strike, the righteous vocal work, and check
out the storybook theme- like a South Of The Border kind of song to me. (I)
got it starting off with Tom thru the conversation with the bartender- then
the Tom guitar... followed by the Pat guitar.. Then it cranks back up with
Patrick on vocals. Check it out, maybe I'm the only weird one. But I got an
imagination.
How bout that live track of Road Angel? Got to be one of my all time Favs
and wish come true- back again.
Thanks Brothers. Good Stuff!!
ONE WEEK TO YORK !! SEE YALL THERE.
