Thanks Rick for tryin' to grab this bull by the horns.  When I E'd them about it, they blew me off with some crud about not having the whole show (which they do, they just are to incompetent to realize it) and that the gap is required in order to insert the track marks needed to enable the >>| function on people's CD players, which is also a load of crud.  The Wildlife CDs have track marks, and no gaps. Maybe you'll have better luck, since you work with this stuff for a living, and therefore can speak with authority when you tell these folks that they have blown it.

You are absolutely right too, that the Doobies deserve better than to have this butchered version of a fantastic live show sent out to the fans.  They did an absolutely cool thing making the show available this way.  Giving the fans a chance to get their hands (and ears) on the music early is just another example of how great they treat us all.
