There are plenty of surprises here. I'll note a few close to the heart and let the album sink into us all: * Great to see another Sante Fe Bro offering a hand on some writin' and background vocals - none other than Mr. Bill Champlin (Sons of Champlin). Nice TJ rockers, too! * A hometown boy (for me) does good - John Cowan (former touring Doobie bass brother) Is credited with helping pen track #8 and plays bass on #2. * Loved that refreshing, Doobies instrumental standard that ends of this album. *And they thanked us all in the club and held up our Pres - Laurin Willis. Not a critique here, just mentioning some stuff. Thank you Doobie Brothers for this.
