Good point, Joel. These new so called "talents" i.e., Korney, Limp Brian Cells (ala Miles Lumbard), Slipnut, (the list goes on) cannot write good music. They "write" crappy s**t. The problem is that this is the stuff that sells, today. It's just my opinion but I think popular music has been dumbing down for years. When is the last time a Dark Side Of The Moon or a Zeppelin 4 (Zoso) was produced, for example?
It was the same when I was a teen in the early 70's. It was said that 60's and 50's rock was better. Those of us who believe in bands like the Doobies are few and far between, nowadays. Guess I'm showing my age or maturity, I prefer. Sorry, fans, for spouting off my useless opinion.

After getting the chance to really listen to the new Cd, I can honestly
say that they still are one of the most talented rock groups still
going. The different styles of music on the cd is amazing. Tom Johnston
and Pat Simmons are still king of the six string in my book. Great
songwriting, great lyrics, great production, everything is perfect.
Hopefully, a release will hit the airwaves soon so these little no
talent new rock bands can hear some real music !! But they probably
can't comprehend something that takes more than two strings to play !!
But we can only hope !!! Doobies Rule!! Thanks for coming back to us
