Most virus warnings are hoaxes...many contain viruses that are spread when they are forwarded, so sending them to the list only infects everyone on the list. If you truly want to see if a virus is real, go to www.mcafee.com or www.symantec.com and see what they say. These types of messages, however, are inappropriate and dangerous for the listserve.
