Dear SantaDoob,
I have been a pretty good boy this year. I haven't done any gatecrashing at
concerts, been overly obnoxious backstage, or partaken of too much alcohol,
drugs, or wild, loose women (drat).
I hope that you can bring me the following things for Christmas this year.
My list is not very long and any thing you bring me will be appreciated.
1. An instructional video tape on bass guitar playing by Skylark. My buddy,
Steve Adams says I need all the help I can get.
2. A Cris Simmons' Concert Cuisine cookbook. I know that she must have some
secret method of keeping Pat so slim and trim.
3. An Ampeg SVT-4PRO 600 watt amp head and Ampeg SVT-1540HE cabinet. I
realize this is a little powerful, but the neighbors have trouble waking up
in the morning.
4. A t.c.electronic SCF Stereo Chorus/Flanger special effects pedal to help
cover up my mistakes.
5. A lifetime concert pass for all future Doobie shows, with backstage
access, meals with the band, airfare, and tour bus ammenities. (Geez, one
can pray can't they?)
6. A collection of all Doobie t-shirts from the past, unworn, size 2XL please.
7. Last, but certainly not least, good health, happiness, and peace of mind
for all the Doobies, their families, and members of the fan club.
Thank you SantaDoob for any thing you bring me. I'll leave you a fresh
doobie, some cookies, and reindeer food near the tree.
