I have just joined the mailing group and would like to introduce myself. My name is Peter Harris and I started using Ubuntu last year. I am a retired BT engineer (probably too old at 70 to change operating systems) and live in Swanage.
I have been having problems with internet access since upgrading from 8.04 to 8.10 and am having to boot to Windows for email and internet.
