I have never used Python, but I am pretty sure that there exist IDEs with support for it ... similar to the way that Eclipse has support for Java originally and now Perl. In fact I just confirmed with Google and Eclipse does support Python too. Some folks I know swear by Eclipse as a programming environment because it does include a lot of language support - syntax help, function name auto completion, et al. So maybe that would help as an electronic form of assistance.
Having said all that, I still go back frequently to a very well thumbed volume from 1999 when I have Perl specific questions. It is not at all up to date but my fingers know where to find things :) -- best regards, Victor Churchill, Bournemouth -- Next meeting: 2012-10-?? 20:00 Meets, Mailing list, IRC, LinkedIn, ... http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ New thread on mailing list: mailto:[email protected] How to Report Bugs Effectively: http://goo.gl/4Xue
