Hi
Working through CUPS upgrade issues, although like the Edimax printer
server problem this one isn't CUPS' fault.
After upgrading to Debian Jessie, most printing seems fine, but some
pages printed from Iceweasel (thunderbird) produced illegible blocky
fonts (eg cups web admin pages).
Tracked this down to a dangling fontconfig symlink:
/etc/fonts/conf.d/70-no-bitmaps.conf ->
/etc/fonts/conf.avail/70-no-bitmaps.conf
should be
/etc/fonts/conf.d/70-no-bitmaps.conf ->
/usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/70-no-bitmaps.conf
