Importantly, why are they still using XP on t'interweb ?

What is throwing the error specifically ?

One of my older friends is running Firefox on an old XP machine and has started getting the following error message:-

XUL RUNNER
ERROR PLATFORM
VERSION 41.0.2
is not compatible with
MIN VERSION >= 41-0-1
MAX VERSION < 41.0.1

I have no idea what this means but guess it's possibly that this version of Firefox (41.0.2) is too advanced for the XP software.

Can anyone confirm this please. Was going to ask at Tuesdays meeting but have not been able to change the date of the conflicting meeting so won't be there. Was looking forward to coming as missed last 2 meetings.
