Hmm, I don't quite parse that. Assuming that you meant that I'm a recent Kubuntu user, then that is not true, I've been using it since approximately 2001!. > https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RadeonDriver? I originally had the Open Source driver and subsequently installed the proprietary driver. There was no discernible difference. Symptoms are as follows: 1. In Foobillard the cueing is rendered in steps as is the progress of the ball. 2. In GL-117, the start menu is almost unnavigable due to stuttering, (I'm not sure why). Once I've fought my way through the menus, the game plays reasonably well, although the detail isn't particularly good. When I run the 'Unigine_Heaven' (https://unigine.com/products/benchmarks/heaven/) [1]tool the detail is brilliant but the frame rate is very poor (~3fps). -- Terry Coles -------- [1] https://unigine.com/products/benchmarks/heaven/ -- Next meeting: Bournemouth, Tuesday, 2016-01-05 20:00 Meets, Mailing list, IRC, LinkedIn, ... http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ New thread: mailto:dorset@mailman.lug.org.uk / CHECK IF YOU'RE REPLYING Reporting bugs well: http://goo.gl/4Xue / TO THE LIST OR THE AUTHOR
