Have you tried moving your kit to a different location? My wife's car jams our wifi - she has to park it well away. Even though I'm 6ft from the router and showing 90-100% signal. On 2.4 and 5GHz. We also have an alarm system (in a different location) which periodically reports RF jamming (at certain times of the day, and at certain times of the year). The RF spectrum is awfully congested these days.
