If you boot it up with the lid closed, the login screen should appear on the external monitors, at least it has done for me on every Linux laptop I’ve used for the last 20yrs (I’m exclusively a laptop user)….
You’ll need to make sure the bios settings are such that it won’t go to sleep when you close the lid. As for how to make the script run at startup, that depends on whether you are using systemd or sys-v init.
