One of the bi-products of my adventures in upgrading and rolling back Kubuntu, is that the configuration of Network Manager has been lost.  Back in the mists of time, when I installed the VPN server at WMT, I worked out how to connect to it using Network Manager, but for the life of me I can't remember how I did it. For info, I can connect to the server by running a script in a shell, but the Network Manager feature allowed me to connect to the server as if it is any other kind of network.

The problem that I have is that the Network Manager Connections dialog asks for the following information:

In a box-out labelled Gateway:

* Gateway

* Certificate

and in a box-out labelled Authentication:

* A drop box to select the type  (I have selected Certificate/private key)

* Certificate

* Private key

* Private key password

I have the Certificate and there are only two possible choices for the Gateway address, but I cannot recall how I got the Gateway Certificate or the Private key.

The guy in the US won't wake up for four or five hours and in any case, he doesn't use this feature anyway.  Can anyone suggest what those fields are looking for?
