Recently we seem to get quite a few correspondents who find our 'TalkTalk'
emails in their junk folder, and we also seem to get some in our junk folders.
I went online to Talktalk webmail and was able to declare an email 'not junk'
and recover it to my inbox.
On Hotmail when you select an email in Junk it asks if it should consider
emails from that sender not junk in the future. That's good.

Note there is another common word for Junk starting with S. In Kubuntu
Thunderbird calls it Junk, in Windows 11 it is 'S***'

Are other people having similar problems?

On the talktalk forums it was stated that both Google and Microsft know of this
problem and are working to fix it as well.
