Long story short, I have just updated MX Linux to version 25 and I am having an issue with Proton VPN. I want to apt purge anything protonvpn related that has been installed while trying to get Proton to work.

But when I do

sudo find / -type d -name *protonvpn 2>/dev/null it pulls up lots of Protonvpn bits from my backup which are stored under /media/

So if I wanted to run something like sudo apt purge protonvpn, how do I exclude it from /media/ folder and sub folders??
