Given Calibre keeps getting mentioned over time on the list, I thought
KOReader might be of interest to some. (I heard about it when reading
an article on ‘rooting’ an Amazon Kindle.) It appears to have a minimal
interface, getting out of the way whilst reading, but with powerful
configuration including per book.
It’s available for Kindle, Kobo, PocketBook, Android and

I see AppImages amongst the released binaries.
