Duration: 6 months with possible 6 month extension Location: Columbia, SC ***There are 5 immediate openings*** Summary: *Provide technical and professional services related to the design, development and delivery of training sessions for new statewide business processes. In addition candidates will contribute to the identification of effective knowledge transfer processes and the provisioning of end-user training as needed to support the project. The team is implementing SAP for state government business processes related to finance, budgeting, grants management, materials management, human resources and payroll. The Training Developer and Instructor will have in-depth functional knowledge/experience with SAP modules for state/local public sector organizations. The Training Developer and Instructor will design, develop, and deliver training materials for multiple SAP modules.* * * *SKILLS REQUIRED:* *STRONG WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PUBLIC SECTOR/STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT AND HUMAN RESOURCE AND PAYROLL POLICIES, PROGRAMS AND PROCEDURES, SAP TRAINING DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE IS DESIRED; EXCELLENT ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS; ABILITY TO PLAN, ORGANIZE, AND COORDINATE WORK ASSIGNMENTS. MATERIALS MANAGEMENT, FINANCE, HUMAN RESOURCES, OR PAYROLL BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS A PLUS * ** *Specific Duties and Responsibilities: • Serve as project trainer and assist as training facilitator • Assist in analyzing end-user environments to facilitate relevancy in training • Assess, develop, deliver, evaluate, and report training needs, incorporating South Carolina code and regulations • Have working knowledge of RWD uPerform and experience with developing on-line and instructor-led courses for public sector entities • Able to design and develop courses to include student and instructor materials, and exercise guides and quick reference guides • Deliver training with limited functional team support and familiar with developing and facilitating hands-on exercises for courses.
