Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Charlotte, NC

Responsible for activities that include the following:

*        In partnership with other team members and other teams, facilitate
the concept phase for all IT-enabled initiatives:

            -          Documents current and future state business processes
and information flow maps

            -          Perform root cause analysis to identify current state
process inefficiencies

*        Develop detailed BRDs and FRDs from discussions with business
clients
*        Partner with the development Manager and other Senior BAs to
develop
solution alternatives for business requirements
*        Lead the development of Quality Assurance Plans to set quality
parameters and expectations for deliverables
*        Lead the development of Test Plans and Test Scripts that can be
traced back to the BRDs and FRDs and ensure that all requirements are tested
satisfactorily
*        Coordinate end user training program development
*        Gain knowledge, as it relates to client business processes and the
current business environment in which they operate in
*        Support business assessment reviews, Lean events and other Six
Sigma
process improvement exercises

*Requirements:*

*        Strong knowledge/experience in one or more SDLC methodologies
*        BS in Finance, Computer Science or related field is preferred
*        A minimum of 8 years experience in the areas of business
requirements analysis and gathering, and business process engineering in a
client facing role
*        Experience with Commercial Real Estate business concepts (Property
Management, Accounting, Acquisitions, etc)
*        A minimum of 2 years experience with technology tools that support
Commercial Real Estate businesses (Primarily SharePoint and MOSS).
*        Knowledge of relational database concepts including basic SQL
development proficiency
*        Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills

*        Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems,
develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological
solutions is essential
*        Proven facilitation, meeting/workshop management, project
management
and change management skills are essential
*        Excellent oral and written communication skills
*        Strong presentation skills
*        Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio
*
 Preferred:*

*        Experience with the Caliber suite or other business requirements
management tools
*        Experience with Quality Center or other quality assurance product
suites
*        Experience with StarTeam or other defect management/tracking tools
*        Ability to understand and align IT Architecture and business
strategy with business solutions
*        Experience with Lean-Six Sigma methodologies a plus
*        Functional experience with Business Process Automation tools such
as
SharePoint a plus. (experience with designing workflows tied to multiple
business rules and used by variety of users both internal and external to
the company)
