*Location:* CHARLOTTE NC *Start Date*: ASAP Primary Skills: Siebel # of Years Required: 8-10 Secondary Skills: Web Services # of Years Required: 2-4 *Job Purpose/ Description:* To serve as liaison between the business community and the IT Application Development (AD) organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs; translate business requirements into functional specifications; must possess business domain expertise in the business unit(s) supported and understand the systems and capabilities of the IT organization; analyze business partner operations to understand their strengths / weaknesses and determine opportunities to automate processes and functions; assist in business process redesign and documentation, as needed for new technology initiatives; translate high level business requirements into detailed functional design specifications and manage changes to specifications; negotiate deliverables by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation; recommend buy vs. build decisions; follow rigorous SDLC and project management best practices, comply with internal Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other compliance related processes and adhere to change control and problem management procedures. Analyzes with strong client relationship management (CRM) business knowledge including service (event management, bulk email communication, call center, case management, interaction tracking) and marketing (campaigns, channel integration and analytics). The focus for this position will be in support of our initiatives in our Institutional business unit. *Tasks and Responsibilities:* • Works with the business community to provide applications software / technical solutions that meet user needs. • Leads complex / major efforts in delivering applications software / technical solutions to the business community / end users. • May lead project teams; may serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives. • Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in assigned area. • Strong knowledge of systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies. • Translates business requirements into functional design specifications. Documents Functional Design. Develop integration test plans, cases and scripts and conducts integration testing. • Writes and maintains other technical documentation (including issues lists, flow charts, risk assessments, and use cases) as required for new technologies and/or regulatory compliance, e.g., in support of SDLC, SOX, change control, and problem management processes. • Handles complex operational tasks, resolves complex problems, and recommends processing and technology changes • Strong ability to work with business owners and AD teams to support applications that comprise components from different vendors; develops RFIs, RFPs, and business cases; monitors SLAs and Disaster Recovery requirements / testing with vendors. • Strong ability to design GUIs into visually compelling layouts with fluid navigation; adheres to enterprise GUI standards and extends to business application GUI requirements; may design screens / layouts for portal, web or rich client interfaces • Negotiates deliverables from initial requirements to final implementation by leading communication between business units and IT. • Recommends buy vs. build decisions, as well as the development of new code vs. the reuse of existing code. • Evaluates and implements new initiatives on process improvement and technology initiatives. • Assists management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload. * * *Required education/experience:* • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. • 8 plus years of IT work experience in applications programming/analysis. • Excellent working knowledge of systems/applications software and the Information Technology industry; understands their role in supporting business requirements/technical solutions. *Venu*** *Phone: 914-729-7292*** *Fax : 914-821-9016*** *Email : v...@baisys.com*** *Web : www.baisys.com*** *YIm :baisys.v...@ymail.com*** *________________________________________*** *IMPORTANT NOTE: Under Bills.1618 Title III passed by the 105th U.S. Congress, this email cannot be considered spam as long as it contains our contact information and a link for the removal requests.
