*Location:* NY *Duration:* 3-6 Months *Rate: *$40/hr Core Competencies required for the DCJS Project • Hibernate • JMS • Java Programming skills Technical Skill Set: Database / Services • Oracle 10g • Hibernate Programming Languages • Java5 or above • JMS – Good Understanding Required • Object Oriented concepts – Good Understanding Required Software Engineering Tools • Eclipse IDE • CVS / SVN / Clear Casel versioning systems • Websphere Application Server 5 or above (Required) Preferred Skills • Experience with IBM toolset (RSA/RAD), MQSeries Soft Skill Set: • Good Communication Skills The developer will be interacting with different project team like QA, etc. Communication is Key. • Problem-Solving Skills The developer will need ability to problem solve any potential issues that may arise. • Flexibility / Adaptability One of the constants on the client project is change. The developer will need ability to adapt to changes in direction, if/when they arise. • Time Management Abilities Time is a critical part of the success of the project. The developer will need ability to manage activities against pressured timelines to ensure success of project delivery.
