*Job Title : OLAP Developer Location : Northbrook, IL Duration : 3 Months Contract-To-Hire* *Description : * - Programmer position to coach implementation of OLAP technologies. - Strong blend of technical and project leadership skills. Individual should have excellent technical support track record with at least five years of combined business, project management, and technical experience with seven years of OLAP experience. - The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must possess a high degree of collaborative skills for working with the different teams. - Comfort in interacting with, escalating issues to, or challenging senior leadership as required. - The candidate must have experience managing to business user expectations, needs, & priorities and have demonstrated the ability to provide business solutions in a timely and efficient manner. - The candidate must have deep technical skills and a fundamental understanding of warehouse and business intelligence architecture. - Candidate should have implementation experience with Microsoft Analysis Services. - Lead efforts to automate on-going reporting through interfaces with Excel, OLAP, web based reporting, and other reporting tools. Must have experience in developing cubes and reports. - Help to mentor existing resources within team. - Good experience in Relational Databases like SQL and Oracle and strong dimensional modeling skills required.
