Position : E-learning Candidate Location: Thousand Oaks, CA Length: 2 MONTHS Rate: As per Market Responsible for enterprise wide web based learning technology projects that have direct positive business impact on the Operations organization. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs analysis, designs, develops, codes, troubleshoots, debugs, implements, configuration management, and maintains software code and web sites. Consults with Operations personnel by providing significant technical direction on major development projects. Conceives and proposes new ideas and products to support business needs, and guides the implementation of these ideas and products within an application. Collaborates with web content owners, graphic designers, and other members of a project team on requirements, design, development and implementations of projects. Responsible for interface implementation and system communication. Develops sub-project plans, functional specifications, and schedules. Stays abreast of new web technologies and techniques with knowledge of Internet / Web tools, protocols and programming languages. EDUCATION/EXPERIENC E *Requires a BS/MS in Computer Science, Instructional Technology or a related field, 5 plus years of web design/development, and 5 plus years supporting a training/learning organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Certified Instructional Technologist (CIT) or MS certifications preferred*. Ability to travel maybe required. SKILLS: Thorough understanding of computer applications and programming required. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Good analytical and problem-solving skills required. Working with a team that may include internal consultants, instructional designers, graphic designers, and web developers, the candidate will conduct performance and instructional analysis, then develop detailed storyboards and end learning products for large, cross-functional projects. As part of the eLearning development process, the incumbent will create and/or edit graphical, textual, auditory and video materials. Required Software Skills: Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Adobe Audition, Adobe Creative Suite(including Dreamweaver) .
