Job Title: Cognos Administrator Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6-12 Months (EAD/GC/CITIZEN ONLY) Job Description & skills: * Total 10+ years of experience in Software Architect, Administration, Development, participate in planning, analysis, design, review and programming in various projects. * 4 years of experience in upgrading to Cognos 8 BI * Around 5 years of experience in designing of Cognos Architecture. * Experience with Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, Metric Studio PowerPlay, PowerPlay Transformer and Analysis Studio * 5 years of BI Infrastructure and Development Architect experience involving Data Modeling including multi-dimensional modeling * Engineer Cognos Framework Manager packages along with creating and maintaining packages * Experienced with SSO implementation in between Cognos and Web sphere portal. * Integrated Control-M scheduler tools with Cognos for a centralized location schedule monitoring. * Estimate and coordinate development activities and train junior developers to develop packages and reports * Good experience in Cognos SDK Administrator and involved in Development activities. * Experience in Cognos performance tuning and optimization using load balancing and distributed hardware architecture. * Above 4 years of experience in COGNOS Tools using like IMPROMPTU 7.0/7.1, POWERPLAY&TRANSFORMER 7.0/7.1/7.3, IWR 7.0/7.1/7.3 and VISUALIZER 7.0/7.1/7.3.
