Short Description:

Senior Consultant is to help State of AR with the design and implementation
of new SAP portal functionality. The portal strategy used should include
security, scalability and allows current Arkansas employees to leverage
their knowledge.



Complete Description:

Years of Relevant Experience: 12 to 20 years

Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study or
advanced degree



Role Description:

·         System and application security, internet and extranet, networks,
firewalls

·         Knowledge of working with different operating systems, and
client-server applications

·         SAP Enterprise Portal (v, 7.0, v6.0 and v5.0), *EP7.0 and
EP6.0* technical
architecture

·         SAP Enterprise Portal knowledge including roles, security, and SSO
(single-sign on)

·         *J2EE, Java Programming relating to SAP R/3 or SAP BW or SAP
Portal *

·         Person needs to be proactive and be able to work and communicate
with teams

·         Person needs to be able to develop a SAP Portal strategy

·         Person must able to scope the business requirements, managing the
configuration tasks through realization and test phases, planning the
cutover and go-live.

·         Person must help Design infrastructure of (internal and external)
facing portals for access by several sources.

·         Coordinate activities with SAP Basis, ABAP and business teams

·         Configure Business Packages related to *ESS or MSS *

·         Configuration could include setting up SSO, and working with
security team

·         Design portal roles and user interface, Universal Work List

·         Configure and implement ESS or MSS portal for time entry and Sales
portal for shopping cart and inventory review

·         Be able to design a solution that fits business needs

·         Have ability to work with news pages, Web Dynpro, change iview
properties

·         Lead portal development, on-time delivery, Managed resources,
scope, daily tasks and project plan

·         Designed the landscape and architecture, external portals

·         Knowledge of import tools to load users

·         Portal systems used with corresponding BW, and R/3 backend

·         Build portal content, configuration

·         Knowledgeable BSPs, transaction iviews, and iviews, Installed and
configured TREX Search

·         Designed XML forms, Daily system administration tasks

·         Advised use of SAP Enterprise portal

·         Developed authorization and security strategy
