Title: Data Analyst Location: San Leandro, CA Duration: 6+ months Position: 1 Start Date: 10/04/2010 *Must Have *Minimum Years Required Data Analysis and transformation rules 7 Data architecture and analysis 7 Queries, analyzes, and interprets complex data stored in DB2 and Oracle databases. 7 Writes SQL queries, using standard query tools such as TOAD and QMF. 7 Detects, documents, and recommends approaches for handling data quality issues. 7 Articulates data derivation or transformation rules in business terminology. Uses Microsoft Office tools for use in documentation, presentations, etc. 7 Understand the information storage structure in the different System of Records and map them to a structure compatible with target application and prepare the high level data model Data mapping & transformation: 7 Maps data attributes from existing sources to the target reporting data model. 7 Database Management 7 Identifies gaps between the target reporting data model and the required attributes identified by business users. 7 *Must Have Soft Skills · Excellent Communication Skills, Team player, Should be able to articulate and sell Solutions, Merger and Acquisition Experience, System Integration · Data architecture and analysis: Queries, analyzes, and interprets complex data stored in DB2 and Oracle databases.
